Chocolate Christmas Log NEW

Our traditional Christmas log is usually made with French buttercream and a “Joconde” biscuit.

This year, I want to show you how to make a more modern Christmas log.

The cake will be done with hazelnut or pecan nuts cover by a creamy chocolate and inserted in a chocolate mousse.

For the finish of this log, it is important that the log has remained in the freezer for a few hours, and then you can pour over the mirror chocolate and finish the decoration.

So everything will be prepared during the cooking class, typical chocolate mirror and snowflake decorations but the last step will be done at your home or you will have to come back.

This is a more technical class. This is really a class for “advance pastry chef”. Every step, all together, will need at least 3hrs.

It is also necessary that you have your own mold. Easy to find on Amazon.com. You will need it for the cooking class.
